Talking through your options
Skills Jersey is open from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, throughout the summer holidays to help those students who are:
- looking for alternative courses and universities
- taking an unexpected gap year
- considering employment instead of further education

The quickest way to find out whether your university or college has accepted you is to check 'Track' on the UCAS website from 8am on A-Level results day.

Student finance
If you've applied for funding from the States of Jersey, you should complete the below form and return it with copies of exam results and your offer letter to the Student Finance Office as soon as you receive your A-level results.

Clearing
Clearing is available between July and September and helps people find vacancies on higher education courses.
You're eligible for clearing if:

you've applied in the current application cycle

you've paid the full application fee
-
you haven't withdrawn your application
You must also meet one of the following:

you hold no offers
-
your offers haven't been confirmed because you haven't met the conditions, eg you didn't achieve the required grades

you've declined or not responded to your offers
-
your offers haven't been confirmed and you have declined any alternative offers of course or start date made by your chosen universities and colleges
-
you have applied after 30 June. If your application was received after this date, we won't have sent it to your chosen universities and colleges
