New toucan crossing on Rue du Pont Marquet

​About the project

A new toucan crossing is being installed on la Rue du Pont Marquet at the junction with the Railway Walk to improve the safety of pedestrians and cyclists who need to cross the road at this location.

Working Hours for phases 1 and 3:

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Saturday, 8am to 1pm (if required)

Sunday and Bank Holiday, no work

Access

Access to properties and businesses, within the working and traffic management areas, will be maintained at all times.

Access to the public car park adjacent to the new crossing point is closed throughout the duration phases 1,2 and 3 of the works. 

Diversion routes during Phase 3A

La Rue du Pont Marquet, La Rue des Mans, La Route du Coin, Route du Francfief, Le Pont du Val, la Route des Quennevais.

The Railway Walk remains open to pedestrians and cyclists.
