About the Door Registration Scheme
The Door Registration Scheme is recognised by the Licensing Assembly for the licensing of door security staff in Jersey.
Liquor licences (other than off-licences) can only employ door security staff if they're authorised by the Justice and Home Affairs Department (JHA). Door security staff who are registered on the scheme must be able to show their badge when requested.
Registration to the scheme is valid for a period of 2 years, after this period the registration must be renewed.
