We're an outpatient unit, providing a range of treatment options. We have an 18 station dialysis centre, providing haemodialysis treatment for clients with acute and chronic kidney disease.
We're located on the third floor of the Gwyneth Huelin Wing. If the doors are locked, there's an intercom system on the right hand side before the door.

To attend the Renal Unit, you need a referral from your doctor or a hospital admission. We prioritise your first consultation by patient need and send an appointment letter. It explains the appointment process so you’ll know what to expect when you arrive. You need to have blood tests done a week to ten days before your appointment.
On the day of your appointment, you need to bring:
- all medications you’re taking including prescriptive medications
- any medicines you’ve bought such as herbal remedies and over the counter medication
- information about any change in details such as a new mobile number, change of address or new GP
Changing your appointment
If you cannot attend or need to change your appointment, contact us as soon as possible. We'll arrange a new appointment for you.

We provide care to patients on holiday in Jersey, subject to availability.
There’s no reciprocal agreement between Jersey and The UK, so we charge for the services provided. The current cost of each session is £294.
It’s important that you discuss this with your unit to see if they cover these costs or if you need to cover them. Full payment is needed when you arrive if you’re self-funding.
We accept payment by credit and debit cards. We also accept cash or cheques with prior notification.
To book holiday dialysis, contact your home unit and ask them to contact us. They complete the paperwork and return it to us two to four weeks before your holiday.
