The Jersey Safety Council (JSC) has announced dates for the next round of Behavioural Safety Leadership training, starting in September.
To date, a total of 511 people employed by 53 companies in the Jersey construction sector have either been trained, or are signed up to receive training, in Behavioural Safety Leadership.
The seven construction companies involved in the development of this programme, in conjunction with the JSC, have set a target for all companies operating on their sites to have participated by the end of 2022.
The Health & Safety Inspectorate fully endorses the objectives of the change programme. It is also pleased to note the commitment and progress made in respect of this important element of making our local construction sites safer.
The programme is also supported by the Jersey Construction Council.
