Friends of the Bridge charity

About Friends of the Bridge

Friends of the Bridge is a charity based at the Bridge (Association of Jersey charities membership number 286). It works in partnership with all agencies based at the Bridge including:

  • Brighter Futures
  • Community Midwives
  • Family Nursing and Home Care
  • Jersey Childcare Trust
  • Parenting Support Services 

Aims of Friends of the Bridge

Friends of the Bridge aims to:

  • support the development of learning opportunities available to users of the Bridge and the Bridge community
  • give clients the opportunity to be part of a caring, supportive, learning community
  • fundraise in order to develop opportunities and resources
  • engage in research to inform future developments

Work of Friends of the Bridge

  • employing a volunteer coordinator to recruit, retain and develop volunteers within the centre
  • undertake research work for the Bridge
