Parental Support Payment

About the Parental Support Payment

This is a one-off payment for parents or carers who are living, working and looking after their children in Jersey, but have been on the Island less than 5 years.

If your family qualify for the payment, you’ll receive:

  • £250 for 1 child
  • £500 for 2 children or more

Your children must be under 18 years old on the 1 January 2023.

The aim of the payment is to help families with the rising cost of living. It’s also an opportunity for your family to engage with Customer and Local Services (CLS) and learn about the services we offer.
